khis·kānā vt (a) to move slowly; मेज़ को ज़रा बायें खिसका दो move the table a little to the left. (b) to remove stealthily; उसने दो-चार दिन में मेरी सब किताबें खिसका लीं he/she removed all my books stealthily in a few days. [syn. सरकाना]

khapānā vt 1. to consume; माल ~ -- goods. 2. to use up; इमारत के काम में लकड़ी ~ to -- timber in the building work. 3. to absorb; हम इस विभाग में दो आदमी और खपा सकते हैं we can absorb two more men in this department.
