(b) to be entrapped: शेर जंगल मे फँसा पड़ा था the lion was lying entrapped in the forest; वह दलदल में फँस गई she was entrapped in quag- mire [fig. too]. (c) to be involved: झंझट या मुकद्दमे में ~ -- in trouble or a law-suit; वे दोनों प्रेम में फँसे थे they were involved in love.
