nipaṭ·nā vi (a) to be finished. to be disposed of: काम निपट गया the work was done. (b) to be relieved: मैं ड्यूटी से निपट गया I was relieved from duty. (c) to be settled: झगड़ा निपट गया the dispute was settled. (d) हम उससे निपट लेंगे we shall settle score with him/her.

niyamānusār adv according to rules: ~ उसे चार दिन की छुट्टी मिल सकती है -- he/she can get four days' leave.
