tin·kā mc straw: तिनके बिखेरना to scatter --; तिनके बटोरना to collect --; △ ~ तक न रहना to be robbed of everything; ~ दाँतों में पकड़ना/लेना to beg for mercy; ~ हो जाना to become thin and lean; तिनके का पहाड़ बनाना to make mountain out of a mole-hill; तिनके का सहारा लेना to catch at a --; तिनके की ओट पहाड़ a hill hidden behind straw, a big secret hidden under an apparent trifle.
