II. adv (a) exactly, precisely: मुझे ~ याद नहीं है I don't remember --; ~ साल भर बाद -- after a year; ~ बारह बजे -- at 12 o'clock, ~ वैसा (ही) -- the same. (b) rightly: तुम ~ समझते हो you, understand --; ~ मध्य में -- in the middle. (c) well: तुमने बहुत ~ कहा you said very well; यह जूता ~ नहीं आता this shoe does not fit --.

ṭhaṭṭhā mu (a) joke, jest: किसी से ~ करना to play a joke on smb, to jest with someone; किसी का ~ उड़ाना to laugh at smb; (b) fun: बूढ़े का ~ मत उड़ाओ do not make fun of the old man. [syn. मज़ाक, हँसी q. v.]
