ṭhes fu (a) hurt, blow: उसने शीशे पर ~ लगाई he/she gave -- at the glass-pane. (b) shock: मेरे मन को ~ पहुँचाई gave me a mental shock, hurt my heart; किसी के सम्मान को ~ पहुँचाना to hurt one's dignity.

/ठंढा ṭhaṇḍā/ṭhaṇḍhā a (a) cold; cool [दिन day, कमरा room, पानी water]; ठंडी/ठंढी रात (हवा, साँस, जलवायु) -- night (wind, breath, climate).
