jit·nā I. rel. pron and a as much: ~ चाहो ले लो take as much as you like; ~ धन उतनी चिन्ता as much money, so much care. II. adv as: वह ~ धनी है उतना मैं नहीं हूँ I am not so rich as he is; वह जितना ऊपर जाता है उतनी ठंडक बढ़ती जाती है the higher he goes, the cooler it is.
