vajrapāt mu fall of a thunderbolt, stroke of lightning: मुझ पर मानो ~ हुआ as if a thunderbolt fell down on me. (fig.) astounding calamity.

vāīse adv in that manner: ~ करो जैसे मैं करता हूँ do as I do, do in the manner I do; ~ का बैसा the same as before: खाना वैसे का वैसा पड़ा था the meal lay as it was before; वैसे ही (a) in the same manner: ~ ही फिर बोलो speak again in the same manner. (b) by chance, by the way: यह मुझे ~ ही मिल गया I found it by chance; मैंने ~ ही पूछ लिया I asked just by the way. [cf. ऐसे, जैसे, कैसे]
