vishuddha a (a) unadulterated, pure [घी ghee. जल water, वायु air] (b) pure [चरित्र character, भाब sentiment, विज्ञान science, सिद्धान्त theory].

vibhed (a) mc sub-varieties: ऐसे फूलों (रंगों, विमानों) के कई भेद- विभेद हैं there are several varieties and sub-varieties of such flowers (colours, aeroplanes). (b) mu distinction, discrimination: इन जातियों में ~ करना कठिन है it is difficult to discriminate between these tribes; भाषाओं का ~ -- of languages.

vidroh mc revolt, rebellion [युवा youth; खुला open, भयानक terrible, सशस्त्र armed]; सैनिक ~ mutiny; ~ करना to revolt, to rebel, to rise in --; ~ खड़ा हो गया a -- broke out; ~ दबाना to suppress a --; ~ भड़क उठा a -- flamed up; ~ भड़काना to rouse (the people) to revolt; किसी संस्था, सरकार, बात से (के विरूद्ध) ~ उठ खड़ा हुआ a -- broke out against an institution, a government, something.
