pach·nā vi (a) to be digested: खाना पच गया the meal was digested. (b) (fig.) to be swallowed and enjoyed: किसी को माल नहीं पचता nobody can swallow and enjoy property; उसके पेच में कोई बात नहीं पचती he/she does not keep a secret. [vt पचाना]

pratishodh mu revenge: हानि या शत्रुता का ~ -- for loss or enmity; किसी से ~ लेना to revenge oneself upon smb.

pak·vānā vt [indirect caus. of पकाना] to get cooked/baked: किसी से रोटी ~ to get bread cooked/baked by smb.

pariṇām mu (a) result [अंतिम final, अच्छा good, उत्साहवर्धक encouraging, घातक fatal, बढ़िया excellent]; इस बार परीक्षा का ~ ख़राब था this time the examination result was bad; निर्वाचन का क्या ~ था what was the ~ of the election ? इसका कोई ~ न निकला it led to no --; इससे हम यह ~ निकालते हैं we conclude/infer from it that. (b) consequences: उसे इसका ~ भोगना पड़ेगा he/she will have to face the consequences.
