/ठाठ ṭhāṭ(h) mc magnificence, pomp: ~ के साथ with pomp and show; ~ से कट गई it (life) was spent magnificently; ~ से बिताना to spend (life) with --. [syn. शान]

ṭhes fu (a) hurt, blow: उसने शीशे पर ~ लगाई he/she gave -- at the glass-pane. (b) shock: मेरे मन को ~ पहुँचाई gave me a mental shock, hurt my heart; किसी के सम्मान को ~ पहुँचाना to hurt one's dignity.

ṭhīk-ṭhāk I. a [usu, predicative] (all) right, O.K., well: हम सब यहाँ ~ हैं we are -- here. II. adv rightly: मैंने घड़ी ~ कर दी है I have set the watch right.

ṭhel·nā vt to shove, to propel: किसी को ठेलकर बाहर करना to shove a person out; चट्टान पर से ~ -- over a cliff; नाव ~ -- a boat. [n. ठेला]

(d) to fix: भाव (क़ीमत/मूल्य, विवाह) ~ -- (up) rates (price, marriage).

ṭhappā mc (a) mould, die: सिक्के या खिलौनै बनाने का ~ -- for minting coins or making toys. (b) stamp: इस कपड़े या काग़ज़ पर अपना ~ ल़गा दो put your -- on this cloth or paper. [syn. (b) छाप]
