bhīkh fu (a) alms: साधु/ भिखारी को ~ दो give -- to the mendicant/beggar; ~ माँगना to beg --. (b) begging: ~ का ठीकरा begging bowl; ~ माँगना to beg. △ ~ माँगे ओर आँख दिखाए! beggars should not be in temper. [syn. (a) भिक्षा]
