ghūm·nā vi (a) turn/move round: पहिया घूमता है the wheel moves round; सुई घूमती है the needle turns round. (b) to stroll, to take walk: हम सुबह घूमने जाते हैं we go for a walk in the morning. (c) to turn: रास्ता दाहिनी ओर घूम गया the path turned to the right. (d) to revolve: पृथ्वी सूर्य के चारों ओर घूमती है the earth revolves round the sun.
