laṅg·ṛā a lame; ~ आदमी, घोड़ा -- man, horse; ~ बहाना -- excuse, लंगड़ी लड़की, टांग, दलील -- girl, leg, argument; वह बीमारी में ~ हो गया he became -- during his illness; वह दाहिने पैर से लंगड़ी थी she was -- in her right foot.

lalach·nā vi to be tempted/enticed = ललचाना (a). लालच [syn. में आना]

laṛ·khaṛānā vi to stagger, to stumble, to falter: वह चलने में लड़खड़ाता है he --s as he walks; वह लड़खड़ाया और गिर पड़ा he stumbled/staggered and fell down; लड़खड़ाती ज़बान faltering speech; उसकी आवाज़ लड़खड़ा जाती है his/her voice stumbles/falters; लड़खड़ाते हुए staggeringly.
