bhannānā vi (a) to hum, to buzz: मक्खियाँ भन्‍नाती हैं flies hum/buzz. (b) to give vent to anger in low tones: बुड्ढा न जाने क्या भन्‍नाता रहता है God knows what this old man frets about in low tones.
