pīchhā mu 1. pursuit, chase: हिरन का ~ -- of a deer; ~ करना to pursue, to follow: शिकारी सारा दिन शिकार का ~ करते रहे the hunters pursued (were in pursuit of) the game all day; उन्होंने घर तक उसका ~ किया they followed her/him to her/his house. △ (से) ~ छुड़ाना to get rid of; (का) ~ छोड़ना to leave off. 2. rear: सेना का ~ -- of the army; पीछे से आक्रमण करना to attack in the --. △ ~ दिखाना to give up; ~ भारी होना to belong to a good family.
