guzar I. fu (also गुज़र-बसर) living, subsistence; इतने रुपये में हमारी ~ नहीं हो सकती we cannot have a -- for this much money, we cannot live/subsist on this much money. [syn. निर्वाह] II. mu (a) passage; इस कमरे में हवा का ~ नहीं है there is no -- for air in this room, air does not pass into this room. (b) approach; उनके दफ़्तर में इस बेचारे का ~ नहीं है this poor fellow has no -- to his office. [also see गुज़ारा]

gaurav mu honour, glory; ~ प्रदान करना to honour, to glorify; ~ घटाना to deglorify, to devaluate; आपने हमारा ~ बढ़ाया you enhanced our glory. [syn. प्रतिष्ठा]

gaṭhīlā a well-jointed, robust; ~ शरीर -- body.

gul·chharre m. pl. [only in the idiom] ~ उड़ाना to enjoy oneself, to live a care-free life.

gati-vidhi fu movement, activities; बच्चों (नौकरों, सेना) की ~ -- of children (servants, the army); किसी की ~ पर नज़र रखना to watch the -- of smb.

gūh mu = गुह q. v.
