(d) to proceed: हम उस और बढ़े we proceeded in that direction. (e) to develop: जल्दी (धीरे, अच्छी तरह) ~ -- quickly, (slowly, well); उसका ज्ञान बढ़ रहा है his/her knowledge is developing. (f) रोग, वैर बढ़ गया disease, enmity was aggravated; लंबाई में बढ़ गया exceeded in length; सीता गीता से आगे बढ़ गई Sita excelled/surpassed Gita; यह उससे बढ़कर है it excels that, it is better than that; उससे बढ़कर कोई ईमानदार नहीं है there is no
