bhaṭ·kānā vt to cause to wander, to lead astray: लड़कों को क्यों भटकाते हो why do you lead the boys astray.

bhūl·nā vi and vt (a) to forget: मैं कभी नही भूलूँगा I shall never forget; मैं भूल गया था I had forgotten. कहानी (घड़ी, चेहरा, नाम, भाषा, रास्ता) भूल जाना -- a story (watch, face, name, language, path); वह तारीख़ें भूल जाता है he forgets dates; मै कुछ करना, कोई चीज़ लाना भूल गया I forgot to do smth, to bring smth.
