riṣi mc (f) sage; वैज्ञानिकों और विचारकों को हम ~ कहते हैं we call the scientists and thinkers (as) sages.

ūṭpaṭã̄g a absurd [बातें talk, भाषा language]; वह ~ बकता है he talks nonsense. [syn. अंटसंट, अंडबंड]

ūl-jalūl a absurd = ऊट- पटाँग q. v.

ūkhal mc (wooden) mortar = ओखली q. v.

riṇ·mukta a free from debt; वह ~ हो गया he was free from debt.
