miṭ·nā vi (a) to become extinct: कई जातियाँ मिट गईं several nations became extinct. (b) to be blotted out: सब चिह्न मिट रहे हैं all signs are getting blotted out. (c) to be erased: कुछ अक्षर मिट गये हैं some letters have been erased.
