juṭ·nā vi 1. to gather, to assemble, to collect; वहाँ व्यक्‍ित जुट गये persons gathered there; भीड़ जुट गई a crowd collected/gathered; पत्थर जुट रहे थे stones were being collected. 2. to get engaged: तुम भी काम में जुट जाओ you also get engaged in the work; वे एक दूसरे से जुट गये they engaged one another; जुटकर काम करना to work in a body. juṛ·nā vi 1. (a) to be collected: उसके पास बहुत धन जुड़ गया much wealth got amassed with him; (b) to be added: दो बच्चे or चार रुपये और जुड़ गये to children या four rupees were further added. 2. (a) to be jointed/linked: ये घटनाएँ आपस में जुड़ी थीं these events were linked together; (b) to stick: ये लड़के सदा जुड़े रहते हैं these boys always stick together; सरेस से टूटी हुई चीज़ जुड़ गई the broken thing stuck together with glue; जुड़ा हुआ हिस्सा connected/linked part.
