chhuṛānā vt [direct caus. of छोड़ना] = छुड़वाना in all senses. (d) to get freed: बाँह ~ to have one's arm freed; से जान ~ to get rid of; कांजी हाउस से गाय ~ to have the cow discharged from the kine house. (e) to remove: लिफ़ाफ़े से टिकट ~ to remove stamp from the envelope.
