chiṛhanā vi (a) to have aversion to, to be allergic about: वह मेरे नाम से चिढ़ता है he is allergic about my name, he has aversion to my name. (b) to be irritated: वे इस बात से चिढ़ जाते हैं he is irritated by this. [syn. खीझना, vt चिढ़ाना, n. चिढ़]
