aṭak·nā vi 1. to get stuck (up); उसके गले में हड्डी अटक गई a bone stuck in his throat. 2. to stop; वह सोचते-सोचते अटक गया he stopped while thinking [syn. रुकना]. 3. to be held up; पतंग पेड़ पर अटकी है the kite is held up (entangled) on the tree.

aṭ·kānā vt (cf. अटकना) to hold up, to obstruct [किसी को smb or smth]; रोड़े ~ to obstruct; किसी की राह में ऱोड़े ~ to put obstacles in smb's way.
