dhāraṇ ~ करना: पद ~ करना to hold an office; व्रत ~ करना to take a pledge; शस्त्र ~ करना to take up a weapon; मन में ~ करना to retain in mind.

dhadhak·nā vi to flare up: आग धधक उठी -- fire flared up; उसमें क्रोध की अग्नि धधक रही थी he/she was burning with anger.

dhundh fu 1. haze, mist, fog: सुबह के वक्‍त ~ थी there was -- in the morning. 2. dim-sightedness: आँखों में ~ आ गई है -- has developed in my eyes.
