chhip·nā vi to hide, to be covered: हम जंगल में छिप गयें we hid (ourselves) in the wood; कोने में (पेड़ के पीछे, मेज़ के नीचे, चट्टानों में) छिपा था was hiding/hidden in a corner (behind a tree, under the table, among rocks); बहुत से ग्रंथ छिपे पड़े हैं many books are lying hidden; छिपा (हुआ) धन/कोष hidden treasure; सूर्य छिप गया हैं the sun has set. △ छिपा रुस्तम a genius unknown.
