(d) अपना वचन ~ करो fulfil your promise; काम ~ करना to accomplish one's task; कोट या जूता ~ नहीं आता the coat or shoe does not fit well. △ ~ का ~ the entire; ~ उतरना to prove up to the mark; ख़र्च ~ नहीं पड़ता the money is not sufficient for expenses. santuṣṭa a (a) satisfied: ~ व्यक्‍ित -- person; ~ रहना to remain --; तुम्हारे उत्तर से मैं ~ हूँ I am -- with your reply; वह अपने में ~ है he/she is -- with himself/ herself; ~ करना to satisfy: तुम मुझे ~ नहीं कर सके you could not satisfy me. (b) contented: ~ जीवन -- life. (c) appeased: ~ करना to appease.
