shaṅkh mc conch(-shell) [छोटा small, बड़ा big, टूटा हुआ broken]; समुद्र के किनारे ~ पड़े मिलते हैं conches are found lying on the sea-shore; मंदिरों में ~ बजाते हैं they blow conch-shells in temples.
