aiṭh·nā 1. v.i. (a) to warp; गीली लकड़ी ऐंठ जाती हैं the damp wood warps; (b) to stiffen; उसकी जीभ ऐंठ गई his/her tongue stiffened; (c) to be conceited; इसपर वह ऐंठ गया at this he got conceited.
