gū̃j·nā vi (a) to echo, to resound, to reverberate; सारा घर गूँज उठा the whole house resounded; आवाज़ गूँजती है the sound echoes. (b) to hum; भौंरे गूँजते हैं bees hum.

gyārah a eleven [खिलाड़ी players, कक्षाएँ classes, घंटे hours, दिन days]; आज ~ तारीख है it is 11th today; जून की ~ को on the 11th of June; ~ बजे at 11 O' clock; सन् उन्‍नीस सौ ग्यारह में in nineteen hundred and eleven A.D.
